Asaba is Arima's best friend. He is very popular with the girls, and think's he's very sexy (you HAVE to see him do his sexy dance in Act 11.0 ! It's so funny ^_^). What is his goal in life? *pauses* *coughs* *chokes a bit* He wants to be surrounded by a harem of beautiful girls (he wishes to call his little group "Merry Land"). He believes that Arima (who is also idolised among the girls) will be the perfect partner to help him achieve this.

When Asaba first met Yukino they fought because he told her that he could not see why she was popular with the boys at school. But later they became good friends. Asaba has an easygoing nature, and is very laid back. He's also good with kiddies ^^

Since, his father has moved away for work, Asaba lives alone. He did not follow his father because they do not get along. He dislikes his father's seriousness. However, when he first saw Arima he was attracted to Souchirou's seriousness. Yukino says that of the pair Asaba is a boy who has forsaken his father, while Arima is a boy who was forsaken by his father.
