Well, Karekano is currently one of my favourite shows. I suppose this page is for me to reason out why I first set this page up, why it's grown so much compared to my other webpages and just to answer a few questions I've been getting.

Of all the pages I've made so far, I think that the one I like the most is my Kare Kano page. ^^ When I first saw the show I thought it was really great. But when I went surfing to find webpages on it I only found a pitiful few. And other than the AMO page, those few were seldom updated and didn't really have much info (omygosh they're character profiles were all the SAME!). So on Monday, July 19, 1999 I decided to make my own.

I'm now making an attempt to make as comprehensive a page as I possibly can. Basically this has become my major project. There ARE however, some obstacles to this. First of all I don't speak Japanese, so I'm surviving on online summaries. I could try to get the fansubs from America, but I really don't have enough money. Secondly, being in Australia it's not really easy or cheap for me to get Karekano stuff ($12 for a pencil board !!?? $50 for a [real] CD! PLUS P&H, you're driving me crazy here @_@). However, being the stubborn person that I am, I still persist. ^^;; Who knows, maybe I'll actually do a good job, but I'll never know if I don't give it my best shot.

I'm sure that as Karekano becomes more popular, many better pages will appear. But until then, and maybe after, I'll be working hard to create a good resource for the Karekano fans that currently exist.
